This was a project that was inspired by the game of Jega. The materials are 6 inch 2x4 blocks that are painted with acrylic paint. The work was very hands-on, hence the title is "Hands On." Each side of the block is painted with different colors that represent the colors of pastel paper. These paintings are from earlier hand studies done in one of my university classes.

I wanted this piece to be interactive and allow people to build and play with the blocks physically, breaking the clique of not touching the artwork.
